Tom Heck

Tom Heck plays the banjo. When not playing the banjo, Tom helps teams in the nonprofit sector become more effective while also experiencing more fulfillment. Tom is an author, inventor, and adventurer.

 

April Nance

April Nance works at Haywood Street Congregation as Sanctuary Coordinator and Founding Pastor's Assistant. At the heart of her work, she enjoys sharing the story of the Haywood Street Fresco with visitors. April is a native of Asheville. For many years she was an advocate for artists in various roles at the Southern Highland Craft Guild. In her current position she delights in the many ways that art and faith intersect.

 

Anne Reeder Heck

Anne Reeder Heck is a teacher, healer, mentor, and artist. She’s the author of three books including her memoir A Fierce Belief in Miracles, Float on Leaves: Poems Inspired by Nature & Spirit, and Treasures from the Trail — a yearlong photo journey of Asheville’s beloved Bent Creek watershed.

With thirty years of experience in wellness and a personal history with trauma, Anne brings intuitive insight and wisdom combined with a myriad of healing modalities to individual clients and group facilitation. Learn more about her work and art at http://www.anneheck.com/.

Luis Martinez

Luis Martinez was born in Santa Catarina Loxicha, Oaxaca, in a small Zapotec pueblo. He came to the US in 2005. Upon arriving in the US, he worked as a farmworker in Indio, California. After returning to the restaurant industry, Luis worked in several restaurants and cuisines alongside other Oaxacans. Also, he became a graphic designer after moving to Asheville, where he has been based since 2012. Now, Luis combines his love for cooking with his passion for social justice and graphic design.

 

Lauren “LB” Bacchus

LB is an experimental fiber artist whose sculptural work is made from abundant, often invasive, plant material. LB is passionate about learning from traditional craft, and sharing research and processes with others. LB teaches workshops for children and adults at a variety of schools and community centers in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, and is a cofounder and the director of Kudzu Culture educational nonprofit.

 

Andi Rose

Andi Rose is a nonbinary entrepreneur, coach, aspiring film maker, and a proud parent. They have dedicated their life to creating change in the world through story telling and business.

As a coach, Andi specializes in working with clients to step into and realize their personal power by overcoming patterns habituated in the unconscious mind.
